Where do you get your medical information these days? When you need to figure out why you have been coughing for a week or have a strange rash on your leg, where or whom do you typically turn to? Some of us may still call to get an appointment with their doctor or consult a friend in the medical field. However, if you are like many of us, we have a growing tendency to go to Google or a similar search engine, plug in some search terms, and see what information comes up. If you happen to go to a reputable site there is a good chance that the information will be accurate. However, there is also the possibility that some of the information that you find will not be helpful or accurate and may actually be harmful.
